Scenario Planning
We have been around the block enough to know what feels right and what doesn’t. What is fulfilling and what isn’t. These tough economic times bring us an opportunity to make choices about what we really want. Likely what we thought would “make us successful” has already proven to not work. It is a time for true growth that only comes from envisioning a future that once seemed impossible and now has to be possible to survive.
Scenario planning is a skill and practice required for practicing vision. It is a left and right brain activity that expands knowledge and creativity. It ultimately requires a commitment for the future that will be realized by action. We believe that these practical competencies to envision and act are required for your organizations. The ability to see a vision, articulate a vision, express a passion, act on a conviction, and hold others accountable to your vision, are all required for success. It is this process that makes organizations entrepreneurial and life giving.
In collaboration with Dia-Gnosis, Insight Strategic Concepts® will explain the scenario planning process and engage participants in the development and sharing of scenarios for the future of their organizations. This learning experience will be foundation for introducing scenario planning and your vision to your organization.

In collaboration with HRchitecture, Insight Strategic Concepts® will outline a framework for strategic alignment with a clear organizational structure that will support growth.

LifeWork Seminar
Organizations are a collection of people whose activities center on producing a specific result. Within the parameters of that activity, each person can be identified based on a characteristic pattern of behavior that is their individual attempt to find their place in the group. This patterned behavior or “lifestyle” is formed early in life within the context of the family, where the individual attempted to garner their share of the attention and emotional resources offered by parents and/or primary caretakers. As such, it is fundamental to a person’s sense of themselves, while remaining largely outside of consciousness. It forms “reality” as an individual sees it.
These patterns persist throughout life and, while brilliant adaptations useful in early childhood, they often become increasingly dysfunctional outside the family circle. The result can be seen in difficulties in relationships, stunted creativity, a lack of enthusiasm for work and a basic withholding of talents, affect and engagement.
Idios has teamed with Insight Strategic Concepts® to offer an integrated, collaborative program that leads individual business owners and leaders in a small group setting to engage in the dialog of gaining insight into their particular lifestyle patterns as they effect the leadership of their companies. Participants learn not only “who” they are, but “how” they are as they relate to others, as they lead their organizations, and most importantly, how they might be able to express themselves in more fulfilling, creative activities and roles within and without the organization.
The LifeWork Program includes sessions on:
- Money
- Relationships
- Adult education and career development
- Spirituality and consciousness
- Parenting
- Goal setting for individuals
- Legacy
