The Law of Growth states that success depends on business owners using and not opposing the universal law of growth. The more we accept and trust the natural growth tendencies for ideas, thoughts or feelings, the faster they will grow. However, the less we accept their natural conception and either try to force or speed their growth, or resist and distrust their natural ability to appear and grow, the more the growth will neutralize or disintegrate. Thus, all of Insight’s products and services focus on engaging 100% initiative into developing the natural pace and patterns of growth for each entrepreneurial organization. These are just some examples of how entrepreneurs deny themselves the benefits from the Law of Growth. The Law of Growth is not new. It has just been well hidden from the business vernacular. The early writings of Brooks Phillips, Einstein, and then later Thomas Troward, reference the Law of Growth in their work. The Law of Growth is often used synonymously with the Natural Law. Thus, it is often discussed in the context of science, psychology and spirituality. However, we see evidence every day of its relevance to the life of entrepreneurship. When entrepreneurs disregard the challenge of limited resources, negativity from others and their own fears and doubts, they achieve and experience amazing results. We believe the Law of Growth is the single most powerful principle for entrepreneurial success. Thus, it is the central theme of our work. When clients allow themselves the opportunity to build a trusting relationship with Insight, growth naturally happens. We see their visions, strategize their opportunities, listen to their successes and challenge their tribulations. We witness these experiences and help evolve them to specific next steps that are aligned with the intended outcomes. We promote positive energy, forward movement and patience, while providing context for the Organic Integration and unique offerings that each client has the opportunity to stand for. Unfortunately, we understand that trust, understanding and application of the Law of Growth are not central to the practices of many entrepreneurs. However, in our work, we design our clients’ business initiatives around proving that it exists. The fact is that by understanding and utilizing the Law of Growth, the opportunities, answers and next steps always naturally appear. The key principle of growth is that we do not put the expansive vitality into the seeds of ideas and opportunities. They already exist in the seeds. They are already in what you are currently doing. The only question left is whether you are aligning your resources and energy around nurturing their natural growth. They will only expand in their natural way if you water, prune and give light to the seeds. A perfect example of this was experienced by a client who had misalignment in the leadership philosophy between two owners. As a result, employee trust in leadership, morale, working systems and sales growth were stunted. Until this misalignment was surfaced and a resolution was found, internal and external growth was disintegrating. Within three months of resolution, new resources, record month sales and new business opportunities revealed themselves. Once the leader dug deep to lift the negativity and obstacles to growth, the Law of Growth took over. Entrepreneurs typically have the natural ability to visualize. There are thousands of stories where successful entrepreneurs overcame struggle by keeping specific visions of successful events in their minds. Within days, weeks, months or years those events occurred as they visualized. We see this all the time in our practice with clients. When clients visualize specific outcomes, articulate them, position the most immediately available resources around those thoughts, and continue to focus on the intended outcomes, the universe responds. Customer and employee interactions, sales numbers, profitability and new product ideas begin to emerge. However, what is necessary is that these feelings and thoughts are seen and held by owners that have specific passions and concentration on their works. Otherwise, their abilities to see the interim natural events that present themselves as steps toward the intended outcome will be blocked due to the lack of interest that will overpower any smaller amount of passion that they do have. Unfortunately, such lack of focus fades the attunement required for the progressive opportunities that will lead to the desired direction. The Law of Growth is not taught in business school, so it is our intent to make sure that all business owners have the advantage of knowing about it to compound the effect of their education and experiences.
