CEO Peer Groups
Teaching is at the heart of Insight’s services and programs. We view every project as an opportunity to develop customized learning curricula for business owners and their teams. We offer in-depth, fully customizable, peer-orientated learning programs based on the participants interests. Insight Chief Executive Peer Series is a one-year program that consists of monthly meetings to analyze and problem-solve prepared case studies based on the business situations of group members. Sessions include recommended books, movies, other media, as well as experiential adventures that apply and deepen course concepts. Availability is limited.
Since 2007, Insight facilitated its first CEO roundtable group developed by the former Goshen College Family Business program. Insight has provided this long-standing group of CEOs practical business learning experiences. This group has met for over ten years and successfully formed healthy relationships and strategic direction for their organizations. We believe our case study approach is a unique offering that attracts a high caliber of CEOs interested in problem solving and in-depth conversations concerning the holistic aspects successful business integration. Curriculum for each group is customized to meet each member’s needs. Topics cover the following areas: leadership, family business dynamics, strategy, sustainability, people development and process improvement.
Annual group membership is limited. We interview and screen referrals and interested CEOs to determine their needs and the types of CEOs they would like to work with in this setting. We continue to interview like-minded executives until a solid group is established and then ask members for one-year commitments. We then design the course to meet the specific needs of each member and the group as a whole.
This fully customized approach provides a “mini-MBA” experience through our collaborative, experiential, and results-oriented curriculum.
